Hi, I’m Kristin Hanes! — blogger at The Wayward Home.
I’m a former journalist turned blogger at The Wayward Home. I split my time between a Sprinter van and a sailboat, and I hope to inspire you to live a simpler, more adventurous, alternative lifestyle.
My partner Tom started out in the San Francisco Bay area with our CT-41 ketch we’ve had since 2015, and we sailed her down to Baja in 2020 where she’s lived ever since.
We recently added a Nelson Market 46 to our sailboat family, with hopes to sail this one around the world.
