There’s a new star captivating the U.S. RV market- the luxury, and super compact – Italian-made Wingamm motorhomes. In the realm of Class B RVs, two models in particular – the Oasi 540 and Oasi 610 – have set the online world abuzz, each amassing over 6 million views on YouTube. The runner-up (Hymer Vision Venture) falls quite a bit short with a still-impressive 3.9 million views.

It’s clear these tiny RVs are quickly becoming the darling among motorhome and van life enthusiasts.

The Italian Wingamm Group has a rich 45-year history in manufacturing motorhomes with an enticing mix of comfort, style, and functionality. And for the first time, U.S. consumers will be able to purchase one of these beauties, thanks to W Motorhome Sales North America, the exclusive distributor of Wingamm RVs in North America.

And now, YOU can help bring these gorgeous Italian motorhomes to the U.S. market. Read on to find out how to get involved.

If you haven’t seen or heard of Wingamm RVs just yet, you’re in for a treat.

Want to see my interview with Tony Diamond, the CEO of W Motorhome Sales North America? Tony is behind the effort to bring the Wingamm RVs to the U.S., and answers all sorts of questions:

If you’ve never heard of a Wingamm motorhome, you’re in for a treat. The adorable Wingamm Oasi 540 is just 17.75′, fitting everything you need inside its spacious interior, from a hotel-like bathroom, to a pull-down bed and full kitchen.

While Wingamm Group manufactures a variety of motorhomes, the Wingamm Oasi 540 will be the first one available to buy in the U.S. market.

This little RV rings in at $145,000, and purchasers will also take on the import cost from Italy.

Here are a few features that make the Wingamm Oasi 540 extra unique:

YouTube video

The Wingamm Oasi 540 is getting SO many YouTube views simply due to its design. Here are some interesting features of this small, but mighty RV.

Fiberglass monocoque bodyshell

The entire living quarters of this mini RV is made out of a single fiberglass monocoque bodyshell, built right on top of the Ram Promaster chassis. This gives strength and durability to the Wingamm Oasi, making the RV resistant to rust and corrosion. Fiberglass is also lightweight, which is why the Wingamm Oasi 540 comes in at under 8,000 pounds. The material also ensures excellent thermal and noise insulation and provides safety during collisions.

L-Shaped Dinette

The adorable L-shaped dinette can not only fold down into an extra bed, but is a great spot for meals, games or just hanging out. Did I mention it seats five! The handy oval table adjusts to any desired position for optimal flexibility, and for extra lounge seating, swivel “captain chair” cab seats are included. Plus, the upholstery is customizable with a selection of stylish ‘jacquard’ fabrics, ensuring your mobile space is not only versatile and comfortable but also tailored to your taste.

Kitchen Area

With a modern design that’s both sleek and practical, the kitchen area features lots of countertop space and several drawers and cupboards, all decked out with chic chrome push-lock handles. The kitchen is also kitted out with a two-burner propane stove that has a neat cover, fitting perfectly flush when closed. For dishes and handwashing, there’s a steel sink topped with a nifty Wingamm wooden chopping board cover (talk about multitasking!). And let’s not forget the 3.3 cubic ft refrigerator, perfect for storing all your road trip snacks and ingredients.

Drop Down Bed

One of the true standout features of the Wingamm Oasi 540 is the drop-down bed. This innovative idea completely opens up the living area, so you have plenty of room during the day to hang out and enjoy your RV. Then, at night, simply pull your bed down from the ceiling and use it!

The best part? Even with the bed down, you can still easily reach the side roof lockers. For those who like the specifics, the bed measures 77.5 x 53 inches and can handle a weight limit of up to 771 lbs.

When is the Wingamm Oasi 540 Expected to Be in the U.S.?

A U.S.-owned company called W Motorhome Sales North America is the only distributor of Wingamm RVs in North America, although they aren’t affiliated with the Italian-based Wingamm group.

The company founders have been working tirelessly to bring the Wingamm Oasi 540 to market, the first model to become available in the States.

The company has raised in excess of $1.6 million to launch their business, a testament to how much Americans are enthralled by Wingamm RVs.

Plus, W Motorhome Sales North America has already gotten 200 reservations and 10,000 customer inquiries. There has been some frustration among customers expecting their RV sooner, but Wingamm has been plagued by similar supply chain issues faced by other RV companies.

Here’s what W Motorhome Sales North America told me about the delay:

“The pandemic led to an increase in RV demand while disrupting the supply chain. As a result, the RV industry has been plagued by a shortage of the chassis on which Class B motorhomes are built. Wingamm Group has been no different and the delays have been caused by delays in the procurement of the chassis on which Wingamm will build motorhomes for the U.S. market. The good news is that Wingamm Group’s first chassis have been delivered to a holding facility in Massachusetts from which they will be shipped to Italy to be converted into motorhomes.”

This is great news, as now, the Wingamm Oasi 540 is expected to start delivery to the U.S. in late summer of 2023.

How YOU Can be Part of the Effort to Bring these Tiny RVS to the United States

W Motorhome Sales North America has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise money so they can bring even more of these Italian RVs across the pond. They have developed a close community of people who are desperate to see the U.S. market disrupted by these luxury Italian motorhomes. W Motorhome Sales North America CEO, Tony Diamond told me: “We have been overwhelmed and overjoyed by their excitement, passion and commitment to our success and we see crowdfunding as a way to give our community an opportunity to participate in any success we may achieve.”

Early investors get perks that you can read about on the crowdfunding Campaign Page at: startengine.com/Wmotorhome and would-be investors can participate for as little as $252.   Click here to be a part of W Motorhome Sales North America’s Crowdfunding Campaign.

Wingamm’s Other Models that Will Come to the United States

While the Wingamm Oasi 540 is the first of this Italian motorhome to be brought to the U.S., you can expect to see other models here in the future, too. W Motorhome Sales told me they hope to bring these other models to the U.S. in 2024.

Check out the tours of these adorable Wingamm RVs:

These other RVs are slightly bigger and have different configurations than the Wingamm Oasi 540, but they’re made of the same fiberglass monocoque bodyshell and luxurious interiors.

So cute, right?

Want to see a Wingamm RV in person?

Another cool thing that W Motorhome Sales North America is doing is bringing you these little RVSs to market in beautiful showrooms. It’s more like what you see shopping for a Tesla, Apple and Peleton rather than browsing Winnebagos in an outdoor RV sales lot.

Santa Monica Showroom

When the Oasi 540 starts delivering to the U.S. later this year, W Motorhome Sales North America plans on opening up a permanent showroom in Southern California, most likely in Santa Monica.

In prior years, the company had two pop-up showrooms, one in Santa Monica and one in Long Island, New York, in 2021. People LOVED visiting and touring Wingamm RVs, and they are sure to be a hit here in the U.S.

I Love These Tiny Luxury Italian Motorhomes!

Like everyone else, I’ve been going through Wingamm’s videos with a sense of wonder and happiness: these little RVs are just so innovative, and luxurious on the inside. I haven’t seen any other RV use interior space like this while keeping an RV comfortable and small enough to park in a regular parking spot.

I’m excited to see Wingamm RVs in person, and possibly, rent one for a few nights to see what all the fuss is about. Someday!

If you’re as delighted by these little RVs as me and the rest of YouTube, it’s your chance to participate in their crowdfunding campaign and own a small piece of W Motorhome Sales North America.

I could buy a class A motorhome for that price. NO THANKS

    1. Pam Weston says:

Who wants a huge monster? About time the US saw well designed , skillfully built small vehicles and homes. Space, materials and fuel aren’t in endless supply and look what our oversized throw a way culture has already gotten us.

  2. Saw this last year. Thought about it however, after weighing things out i.e. price, shipping, money spent to get to Cali. to pick it up (2400 mi.) and…..where would you have this Italian RV repaired if you had something go wrong…….not for for me.

  3. Pam Weston says:

Have they built a US model as of July 1, 2023? I was told (from a valid source) not one model had been built as of the beginning of May. Can you find out from your source if even one vehicle has actually been built? Can you find out if any Promasters have been delivered to Italy?

    1. Kristin Hanes says:

I literally JUST interviewed Tony Diamond who is the CEO importing these vehicles the U.S. Several Ram Promasters have arrived in Italy and are being outfitted by Wingamm. They are expected to be delivered late summer, so we’ll see what happens!

      1. Pam Weston says:

Thanks! Good to know. ‘Bout time.
